What's an achievement outside your work that you're particularly proud of?: I’m proud of my bravery to pursue different experiences even if I’m initially hesitant or worried. It brought me to connectFirst, to becoming a university professor and to becoming a small-business owner as well!
What's one interesting fact about yourself that not many people know?: That I am a published author!
Does your business make any social or environmental impacts that are personally important or significant to you? Why?: As a social work practitioner with a social innovation and business background, being able to support these two sectors through connectFirst has been a great privilege. Being able to maintain connections to the non-profit world, while supporting community as a financial institution has been meaningful as we all explore collaborative solutions together to reach a more inclusive imagined future of what our economies and communities could look like.
